Extended warranty

The extended warranty is our own commercial guarantee for manufacturing defects. We cover defects that appear only after the statutory 24 months, for another 12 or 24 months. It is not an insurance: we provide it ourselves and handle it like a complaint.

This page is a plain summary. The binding terms are in the terms and conditions, art. 7a, the price and its recalculation in art. 4.7. Terms and conditions, art. 7a

Two options, you pick one

Warranty extended by 1 year

12 % of the goods value

at least 199 CZK

You can claim a manufacturing defect up to 36 months from receipt, that is another 12 months after the statutory period.

Warranty extended by 2 years

20 % of the goods value

at least 299 CZK

You can claim a manufacturing defect up to 48 months from receipt, that is another 24 months after the statutory period.

We offer the warranty for orders with goods from 1,000 CZK. You pick it on the product page, in the cart, or later on the order page until we ship the order. One order can carry only one of the two options; you can move from the 1-year to the 2-year warranty by paying the difference.

What the warranty costs

The price is computed from the value of the goods in the order after the discount code, without shipping, the payment fee and other services. We round the result up to whole crowns. Examples:

Goods valueWarranty +1 yearWarranty +2 years
1,000 CZK199 CZK299 CZK
2,500 CZK300 CZK500 CZK
5,000 CZK600 CZK1,000 CZK
10,000 CZK1,200 CZK2,000 CZK

When the value of the goods changes after ordering (you cancel or return part of the goods, or change the products of the order), we recalculate the warranty price by the same rule. You see the difference on the corrective tax document for that change and we refund it, or you pay it together with the goods. If the goods fall below 1,000 CZK, the warranty stays at its lowest price.

What the warranty covers

Covers

  • manufacturing defects, that is defects of material or workmanship caused in production,
  • that appear only after 24 months from receipt,
  • on goods of the order you bought the warranty for and did not return.

Does not cover

  • wear from normal use, for example scuffed, worn or faded covers and surfaces,
  • consumable parts and materials with a shorter life, for example bulbs and light sources, batteries, filters and refills,
  • misuse, use against the instructions, overloading, improper assembly and unqualified interventions or repairs,
  • accidental damage, for example a fall, an impact, a spill, water ingress or a power surge.

When the warranty applies

For the first 24 months from receipt you have the statutory rights for defects, always and free of charge. The extended warranty follows on: it starts on the day 24 months from receipt have passed and lasts 12 months (1-year extension) or 24 months (2-year extension).

The warranty also applies to purchases on a company ID (IČO). Your statutory rights for defects are neither affected nor limited, the warranty always comes on top.

How to claim the warranty

Like a complaint: with the Return / Complaint button on the order tracking page or through customer support. Give the order number and describe the defect, photos help.

We decide on and settle a warranty claim within the same periods as a complaint under the terms and conditions, within 30 days at the latest. We repair an accepted defect or send new goods of the same or a comparable kind and value; where that is not possible, we refund the purchase price of the defective goods. We pay the shipping of the goods in an accepted warranty claim.

You find the warranty you ordered and its period in the order confirmation and on the invoice. We send you the full guarantee statement in the e-mail that confirms the warranty (the order confirmation, or when you add the warranty later, the e-mail about adding it).
